King of the North Bell Pepper. A classic, fast producing bell pepper specifically bred for northern climates. Peppers start out that classic green then ripen to a deep red. Popular for New England growing - this one has surpassed every other bell I have grown in both plant and fruity vigor and size. A 0 on the Scoville heat scale.

Eggplants – Peppers and eggplants demand similar growing conditions making them quite a strong pairing
Beans, peas - Peppers are heavy feeders and pairing with legume varieties that enrich the soil will do them well
Lettuce, salad mix – These low-to-the-ground varieties both maximize garden space and are light feeders, complimenting both pepper’s size and tendency to pull a lot of nutrients from the soil
Marigolds – a repellent for some of the pests that bother peppers
